dreamscape

By Rickerby Hinds

Riverside, California. 1998.

Inspired by the true story of Tyisha Miller, a 19 year-old African American girl who was shot by police while she lay unconscious in a car. Told through beatboxin’, spoken word, and hip-hop dance, Dreamscape reimagines the innocent pleasures of her life and hopes for the future with the sweetness and humor of a teenager’s insight.

Structured around the autopsy report describing each of the twelve bullet wounds, this is a highly acclaimed, clear-eyed look at the relationship between race, the body, and violence.

★★★★★ "The blended performance of dance, spoken word, and beatboxing creates a stunning visual poem told with vivid lyricism." – Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

★★★★ "Powerful and moving piece of fusion theatre" – The Stage

and her children

by rosie glen-lambert & hailey mcafee

and her Children is an adaptation of Bertolt Brecht’s Mother Courage and her Children that reimagines Anna Fierling as a spokeswoman for the NRA.

Inspired by Dana Loesch’s infamous appearance at a Town Hall following the 2018 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, and her Children investigates America’s gun violence epidemic through the lens of those who are paid to defend the right to bear arms.

Time holds still as our contemporary Anna Fierling, a spokeswoman for the NRA, is plummeted into a liminal space where the audience is a stand-in for her own troubled conscience.

In this imagined space, she grapples with two gnawing questions: Has she been selfish? And will she keep her job?

puttana

by Maura Pettorruso

Where does the idea that a body is meat for sale begin?

Where does the idea that every body has a price begin?

The society we live in is the defendant in the courtroom. Advertising slogans, glossy messages charged with sexuality, incite indiscriminate consumption: whether of a woman's body or a chicken breast. The possibility is the same: I pay, I can. The buying and selling, the whore-client relationship, is hidden, never exposed to the light of day. But the rules are the same as any other market.

Or are they?

A girl—needs money. A man—needs sex. The beginning is obvious.

The rest? It's in the gaze of the judge.

where is your husband?

by Anshita Koul

In her new solo comedy storytelling hour, internationally touring, critically acclaimed, Berlin-based, independent standup comedian from India Anshita Koul, answers the most frequently asked and absolutely unavoidable question (because she tried avoiding it for five years), not with a quick retort, but by telling a short story, long— hoping the audiences are sighing, laughing and crying, in no particular order.

Audiences are calling the show “very personal, very alive, very relatable, and of course, very funny,” “a moment of enlightenment,” and “some of the best things humanity has to offer!”

“The pacing is dynamic, the transitions are sharp, and each story naturally leads into the next. There is no moment of hesitation, no dragging; it is full speed ahead, and you have to keep up.” - Sour Cream and Dill, Tallinn Fringe

josh glanc: Family Man

by josh glanc

Nominated for the 2024 Edinburgh Comedy Award and listed by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the ‘stand out’ shows from this year's Edinburgh Fringe, Josh Glanc performs a high-wire act with a collusive onslaught of the ridiculous and the tender.

The multi-award-winning Aussie oddball and former corporate lawyer takes to the stage mustachioed and crop-topped, doling out wonderfully silly songs, surreal audience interactions, and a wackily inventive absurdism all his own. Listed by the Sydney Morning Herald as one of Australia's "most exciting emerging talents". Don’t miss it. Or do. I don’t really mind. I’m just the guy he pays to write his copy.

As seen on the Melbourne International Comedy Festival All Star Gala (ABC Television), Comedy Up Late (ABC), Utopia (ABC), and Skit Happens (Network Ten), and star of the newly released comedy sketch pilot by the same name (Channel 4).

'This show is absolute nonsense and an absolute pleasure' ★★★★ The Times

gobstopper

by leyla aycan

You've got to be choking me...

SKELF Theatre Co. (winners of the Prague Fringe Audience Award and Inspiration Award in 2023 and 2025) lands in the SoHo Playhouse all the way from Glasgow for their New York debut!

Somewhere in small-town Scotland, an old man nearly chokes to death on a gobstopper, and chaos begins to unfold. Making one bad decision after another and armed with a natural knack for saying the wrong thing at precisely the worst moment, our protagonist learns that in her town, trouble doesn’t just come knocking — it kicks the door down.

With sharp humour and raw honesty, Gobstopper by Leyla Aycan is a punch-in-the-face tale of self-discovery, accountability, and the relentless quest for redemption. This dark comedy reveals how our labels can both shape — and shatter — who we are, in a world that dictates our identities long before we have had the chance to figure it out for ourselves.

“You cling to Aycan’s every word throughout the piece – wondering what absurd ploy this character is going to pull next… Biting, zesty, and totally consuming – Gobstopper is a sucker-punch to the face you’ll find hard to not get lost in.” - Binge Fringe

the amazing sex life of rabbits

by michael shaw fisher

Is a reunion with one’s ex-spouse and her new hubby ever a good idea?

Safe to say, Bobby and his current wife, Elise, are financially on the ropes these days. Between a defunct business and broken creative aspirations, life’s promise has fallen short.

However, when Bobby’s ex-wife, a best-selling sex therapist, reaches out to the couple about hosting a “friendly” double date with her new billionaire husband, they present the struggling couple with an unprecedented opportunity that could make all their unfulfilled dreams come true… or utterly destroy them. Their dinner party takes a series of violent swings as they are hit by revelation after revelation, in what will ultimately erupt into a 21st-century class war – wherein the two couples, complete with their own agendas, will use every weapon at their disposal: knife-fighting tongues, heart-wrenching nostalgia, raw sexuality, and of course, money. Lots of money.

Where do rabbits fit into all this?

Audiences will just have to see for themselves in this Rorschach painting of a play that asks, “What would you do if presented with such an offer?” After all, one can’t sell their soul to the devil AND keep it. Savage, hilarious, and moving, The Amazing Sex Life of Rabbits is a fun kick in the gut.

bodycount

by issy knowles

This year, we’ve witnessed a cultural shift: sex work has become a competitive sport. As OnlyFans creators vie for attention in an oversaturated market, extreme stunts have dominated our headlines. Women claiming to have slept with from 100 to 1,000 men in under 12 hours have divided liberal feminists all over the world. The internet hasn’t stopped talking about it since.

Following in the footsteps of the content creators before her, Pollie is an OnlyFans star determined to catapult herself to stratospheric fame with her most extreme stunt yet: sleeping with 1,000 of her subscribers at the Edinburgh Fringe.

BODY COUNT tracks Pollie’s journey into OnlyFans stunts, from her confusing Catholic upbringing to her failed consulting career to her first taste of quick, ‘easy’ cash. Through the empathetic and inquisitive Documentary Maker’s lens, we are drawn into Pollie’s complicated relationship with sex and whether it’s ever truly possible to sever your body from your heart.

stewart huff: is anything ok?

by stewart huff

30 years of traveling the country doing comedy in all the bowling alleys I can find has given me a love hate relationship with human beings.

I think of our species as the first pancake. Not a bad start but you shouldn't eat it.

The idea for this show started when a friend tried to send me a nice text saying "Is Everything Ok?” She accidentally wrote "Is Anything Ok?"

I began to try to answer that question.

elouise eftos: australia’s first attractive comedian by elouise eftos

The Edinburgh Comedy Award-nominated comedian brings her show to New York for the first time.

You’ve had a lifetime of lame anecdotes from all the average-looking comedians, but the reviews are in – self-deprecation is DEAD! It’s time to hear from Australia’s First Attractive Comedian.

Hot girls aren’t supposed to be funny, but Elouise Eftos is. Some people may think it’s a blessing, but she’s here to tell you that being cute comes at a cost. Like all Australian pioneers, Elouise leads you on a journey through the unchartered territory of hotness in comedy.

Elouise bridges the thigh gap between serving good jokes and giving good face. Australia’s First Attractive Comedian is a raucous romp through the life of a quadruple threat, tackling outdated feminism and disgusting men through stand-up, extensive dance training, a trained singing voice, and professional acting (you’re welcome). You think it’s hard being funny? Try being smart and good-looking on top of that.

After sold-out seasons & standing ovations across Australia, New Zealand, Edinburgh, and London, join Elouise for a very special New York debut of her award-winning hour of comedy as she subverts the meaning of feminism, attractiveness, and owning yourself in a world that tells you to hate yourself to be funny.
